   On 13/12/24, Kanyakumari Community College, Malankara School of Commerce, Mariagiri, joyfully hosted its Christmas Celebration - 2024. The event was graced by the presence of: Rev. Fr. Dr. Jerome, Chairman, Rev. Fr. Jose Paravila, Correspondent, Rev. Fr. Bibin, Superintendent.
   The celebration featured a vibrant lineup of events.... Staff and students enthusiastically participated in the festivities. The students showcased their exceptional talents through cultural performances, making the event lively and memorable.
   The program emphasized the spirit of Christmas, fostering joy, unity and gratitude within the college community.

   On 4/12/2024, Kanyakumari Community College, Malankara School of Commerce, Mariagiri, organized a Soft Skill Training Program titled "Confidence Building (Module I)" for the CA students. The session was conducted by the esteemed Prof. Dr. B. Saviour Das, who guided students through an engaging and interactive experience.
   The program included activities such as ... group discussions, collaborative group tasks, individual presentations and exercises to help students identify and leverage their personal strengths. These activities were designed to enhance communication, build teamwork and instill confidence in participants.
   The session was a significant step in the college's ongoing efforts to nurture not academic proficiency alone but also to enable them to become all-rounded CA professionals. It was inspiring to see the enthusiastic participation and growth of our students throughout the day.

   On 20/11/2024, the management of Malankara School of Commerce conducted a retirement meeting in honor of Mrs. Santhi. The event was presided over by Rev. Fr. Jose, the Correspondent of the college. Rev. Fr. Bibin, the Superintendent, along with the staff members, participated to express their gratitude and best wishes to Mrs. Santhi for her years of dedicated service.
   On the same day, a Class In-Charges meeting was also held under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Jose. Various essential topics related to academic and administrative matters were discussed, ensuring effective planning and coordination for the upcoming academic period.

   The Malankara School of Commerce organized a seminar on 30/10/2024 at Stella Maries Social Work Centre, Kanyakumari, focusing on import-export trade insights for CA students. Led by Mr. N. Edison, an industrial expert, the seminar included two sessions: Entrepreneurial Skill Development and a detailed overview of the Import-Export Process, covering essential topics like licenses, obtaining IEC codes, customs procedures, and foreign exchange. The event saw active student participation, inspiring insights from Sis. Dr. Archana Das, and contributions from faculty.
The program was well-coordinated, and it was a successful blend of knowledge sharing and practical learning.

   The inaugural function for the academic year 2024-2025 at our college commenced on 29/7/2024 at 10:30 am with an auspicious prayer song led by Jemila and her group, invoking the blessings of the Almighty. The dignitaries and audience stood in reverence, setting a serene and respectful tone for the event.
   Following the prayer, the esteemed dignitaries proceeded to light the Kuthuvilakku, symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance and the welcoming of knowledge and wisdom. This traditional act marked the formal beginning of the ceremony.
   Dr. B. Saviour Das, the Director of the College, then delivered a warm and gracious welcome address. His words set the stage ... for the day, highlighting the significance of the occasion and expressing heartfelt greetings to all attendees.
   Next, the seniors of the college took the stage to extend a cordial welcome to the new batch of freshers. Their warmth and encouragement helped make the newcomers feel at ease and valued.
   Rev. Fr. Jose, the Correspondent of the College, followed with the Presidential Address. His speech was inspiring and filled with profound insights, motivating the students to strive for excellence in their academic and personal endeavors.
   The Inaugural Address was delivered by the Chief Guest of the day, Rev. Fr. Vinu Kumar, the Correspondent of St. Mary's Matric School, Mariagiri. His presence and words were a great honor for the institution, as he shared valuable thoughts about CA studies, adding depth to the ceremony.
   To conclude the event, Mrs. D. Emin Ida, the Assistant Director of the College, delivered the Vote of Thanks. She expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event, including the dignitaries and attendees, acknowledging their presence.
   The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem, filling the atmosphere with a sense of unity and pride. The inaugural function for the academic year 2024-2025 was a memorable and inspiring start, setting a positive tone for the year ahead.
   Following the program and after the tea break, a motivational class was led by Dr. Bennet for the students. This session was aimed at enriching the students' studies and their future careers.

   A complete report based on the college tour organized to Coorg-Mysore-Bengaluru by college administration from 15th July 2024 to 20th July 2024 with 20 students and 6 staffs.    On July 10, 2024, our esteemed correspondent, Rev. Fr. Ajeesh Kumar, concluded his dedicated service to our institution. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for his contributions and leadership. We are pleased to announce that Rev. Fr. Jose Paravilai has assumed the role of Correspondent, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and a commitment to continuing our college's tradition of excellence. We are confident that under his guidance, our college will continue to thrive and reach new heights.

   College Cultural day for the academic year 2023 - 2024 was held at our campus on 07/02/2024.

  On Sunday the 4/2/2024, Malankara School of Commerce, A unit of Kanyakumari Community College in collaboration with MIDS, took a significant step towards spreading awareness on World Cancer Day. The joint effort resulted in a powerful Cancer Awareness program held at Nadaikavu.
   📚 The event witnessed active participation from the Director of MIDS..., Director of our college, along with enthusiastic staff and students. Together, we united to make a meaningful impact on this global health concern.
   🗣️ The program included informative sessions and the distribution of pamphlets to empower the community with knowledge about cancer prevention, early detection and support.

  On 2/2/2024, The Malankara School of Commerce, A unit of Kanyakumari Community College, set the ground on fire with our Annual Sports Day Celebration! 🏅
   From 9:45 am to 5:00 pm, the college ground echoed with cheers and the spirit of sportsmanship as students actively participated and reveled in the thrilling events. The dynamic duo, Mr. Jijo...and Mr. Akhil, the esteemed Physical Education Directors, did a fantastic job as the spirited emcees of the day.
   👟 The event featured an exciting lineup of sports activities, including the 100 meters running, Relay, Coco, Through Ball, Volleyball, Football and Cricket. Each game brought out the competitive yet friendly nature of our incredible participants
   🤝 It was heartening to witness the entire Malankara School of Commerce coming together to celebrate athleticism, teamwork and a healthy lifestyle. Laughter, camaraderie and sportsmanship were the highlights of the day, making it a memorable occasion for everyone involved.

   We are thrilled to announce a new chapter in the leadership of our college. On November 22, 2023, Rev. Fr. Dr. Jerome, the esteemed Director of MIDS, assumed the role of Chairman of our college. With a wealth of experience and a commitment to academic excellence, Rev. Fr. Dr. Jerome is set to inspire and lead us towards new heights.

   Farewell to our esteemed Chairman Rev. Fr. John Kumar, on November 10, 2023. After years of dedicated service, he leaves an indelible mark on our institution. Our gratitude and best wishes for his future endeavors.

   Diwali celebration was organized by the Students on 10/11/2023.

  The vibrant hues of Onam painted our college campus on August 25, 2023, as we came together to revel in the festivities. The air was abuzz with anticipation as Busser, our esteemed President, led the procession alongside the Director, Asst. Director and AO, setting the stage for an unforgettable celebration.
   Amidst the cheerful chatter, Mr. Jeyaraj,...student, took the stage, delivering a warm and inviting welcome address that set the tone for the day's festivities. The atmosphere brimmed with excitement as Ms. Pomishiya, another talented student, skillfully compared the essence of Onam, adding depth and insight to the occasion.
   Busser, adorned with grace and authority, graced us with the Presidential Address, weaving together words that resonated with the spirit of unity and joy. Following suit, the Director extended heartfelt Onam wishes, infusing the gathering with blessings and goodwill.
   The day unfolded with cultural and sports events, showcasing our rich heritage and camaraderie. Adding to the charm, Attapoo Kolam adorned the grounds. Every moment was filled with enthusiasm and vigor.
   The echoes of laughter, the rhythm of cultural performances and the spirit of sportsmanship lingered long after the event, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts and memories. Onam at our college wasn’t just a celebration; it was a harmonious symphony of culture, unity and joy.

   Freshers Day 2023-2026 Batch, held on July 19, 2023, marked a spirited inauguration for new beginnings. The event saw the enthusiastic participation of the Chairman of Malankara Catholic College, our College's esteemed Chairman, Busser, Director, Assistant Director, AO, dedicated faculties, along with the excited Freshers and their supportive parents.

   Dr. B. Saviour Das, MA, M.Phil, Ph.D, a seasoned educator with over three decades of teaching expertise, holds a Doctorate in Indian Drama, excelling in training and motivation. Passionate about shaping youths for the future and ensuring elders relax, enjoy, and stay motivated, he assumed the role of director in our college on June 23, 2023.

On 13th January 2023, Malankara School of Commerce organized an extravaganza to celebrate Pongal. It was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy by the Students in the presence of Rev. Fr. Ajeesh Kumar, Bursar, Mrs. D. Emin Ida, Director-In-Charge and Staff.
  A traditional Pongal and Kolam Competition was conducted from 10:00 am – 11:30 am and the ... competition was assessed by Judges.
  The second session started at 1:00 pm. Ball Passing, Musical Chair, Lucky Corner, Tug of war and Uriyadi competition were held for Students and balloon bursting for Staff members.
  All the Students participated in all the competition and games which showed their full involvement, support and commitment. The session was concluded at 2:30pm. Prizes were distributed to the winners.
  Senior Students Saaja Fathima, J. Jemila and Staff members Co-ordinate the programme.

Christmas get together and a prayer service for upcoming ICAI December 2022 Examination was conducted on 6/12/2022 Tuesday at 1:30 pm. Rev. Fr. Arul conducted the prayer service and gave inspirational tips to face the exams without fear.
   Rev. Fr. John Kumar, Chairman, MSC presided over the Christmas Get-together 2022 for Students. Ms. Jericca, Student of ...MSC hosts the program. Ms. Sherlin Shimona, Student of MSC welcomed the gathering. Rev. Fr. Ajeesh Kumar, Burser and Mrs. D. Emin Ida, Director-In-Charge are the dignitaries of the function. Rev. Fr. John Kumar delivered the Christmas message. Students fronted cultural events and the program was concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Vince Brightlin, Student of MSC., and the Chairman distributed cakes to students.

A CheerUp Program was organized by the Management of Malankara School of Commerce, Mariagiri for the CA Students titled "MSCians At The TOP" with the slogan "Be a Warrior Not a Worrier" at Malankara Bhavan, Kanyakumari on 21/10/2022 from 10:00am-3:30pm. The speaker of this program at morning section was CA. Mohan, partner of CA. John Moris & Co. The presenter who himself is a source of motivation to students gave encouraging examples from his own ... life and inspired students to be a self-motivator. He asked the students to make a list of their life problems and prioritize it to solve one by one and also discussed the importance of positive thinking and attitude which brings optimism into life and such constructive changes can make one brighter and more successful. Rev. Fr. Bennet, MSc. Psychology, motivate and encourage the students at the second section. We believe this program helped students to be guided by a positive mind and driven by self-motivation. A total of 75 students and 9 staff were attended this program.

The silver Jubilee ceremony of Mariagiri Malankara School of Commerce College was held on 20/9/2022. Bishop Most. Rev. Vincent Mar Poulos of Marthandam Diocese presided over the function to celebrate 25 years of... the college. Chairman Fr. John Kumar welcomed the gathering. Director-In-Charge Mrs. Emin Ida read the Annual report. Kalidas, Director of Vocational Education of Nellai Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Peter Benedict Rajan, former chancellor of the college, CA. Amirtharajan and others spoke. Bishop honored the students who passed the CA exam by giving prizes. Professor Ajin proposed vote of thanks.

Malankara School of Commerce was organized a motivational session for the CA students by A. JOHN MORIS on 5/9/2022. CA John Moris is a CA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is the founder of CA. John Moris & Co., it is a highly reputed Audit Firm with headquarters in Chennai and offices in multiple locations all across. He is a motivational speaker and he is a menter of Malankara School of Commerce, Mariagiri. The main objective of the event is to motivate the students to clear CA exams and to help them build career as a Chartered Accountant.

First PTA Meeting held on 3/9/2022.

College sports day for the academic year 2022 was held at our campus on 26/8/2022.

The Management, Staff & Students Wishes all the Winners of ICAI CA-Foundation & CA-Intermediate May - June 2022 examinations.

The Inaugural function of the Academic Year (2022-2023) for the first years held at Malankara School of Commerce, Mariagiri on 03.08.2022 at 10:30am. The ceremony started with a prayer song. Rev. Fr. John Kumar led the ceremony with his Prayer and lighting of Kuthuvilakku. More than 25 Students have come to step into Learning Portal of MSC. Mr. Ajin Chandra Paul CM, Lecturer, hosts the program and welcomed the gathering. Rev. Fr. John Kumar, the Chairman of MSC has presided over the function and delivered the Presidential Address. In his Presidential address, he highlighted the student’s responsibility and their ...values in building life. He encouraged the students about the various new job opportunities waiting in MNCs companies and others etc.
The Chief Guest of the day Rev. Fr. Arul Dhas, Correspondent, Malankara Catholic College, Mariagiri delivered Chief guest address. Really that was a wonderful speech we impressed with his Quote “A Man without education is like a Bird without Wings”. Our budding CA students will never forget his 4R’s to grab the 5th R. We are honoured to have such a wonderful Chief Guest. The Director-In-Charge of MSC, Mrs. D. Emin Ida, delivered Inaugural Address. In her address, she elucidated the rules and regulations of the academic system. She also brought some other points related to Attendance, College timings, Discipline and also highlighted about the college infrastructure. Parents were attending the Inaugural function with pride and happiness because of their Students’ Educational journey at Stream of Integrated Professional Study at MSC. In addition, she insisted that the parents must be very supportive for the betterment of their children and students must know their responsibilities.
On the other hand, the Function concluded sharply at 11:30am with a beautiful vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Shabin S., Administrative Officer of MSC followed by the National Anthem.
Finally PTA meeting also held at our campus on that day at around 11:45 am to 12:30 pm.

Our college collaborate with National Skill Development Corporation and provide 3 certificate course for our students. NSDC Assessment for the current academic year was held on 8/7/2022.

One day trip were organized and executed on 1/4/2022.
